Smallville “Prey” Episode Review

This 6th episode of Season 8 “Smallville” was pretty interesting and we got to see Clark start to take the “Superman” role by cleaning up the city and saving innocent people but then a problem arises that Clark’s not able to stop quick enough. I turns out that there’s a new menace in town. A shadow creature that moves really quick and kills people . Davis(Sam Witwer), a friend of Jimmy and Chloe and a parametic who is always on the scene starts to think it might be him and so does Clark. Chloe, however does not which causes Clark to have to go behind her back to get evidence betraying her trust. After a series of events Jimmy and Davis arrive at the scene where they think the killer might be. Davis goes in first and gets attacked by the real killer. Then Clark shows up at the scene still thinking the killer might be Davis but quickly finds out that he is wrong as he sees the Shadow creature and is able to stop him by detecting him with his x-ray vision. It turns out that the shadow creature was a teenage boy who is able to transform into the creature.

I thought the show was very good and interesting as they tried to investigate what was going on. I also liked how they start to slowly integrate Clark’s Superman role as he starts to clean up the city of crime in the beginning. Next week it looks like they finally get him in the suit. It should be pretty interesting.
