CBS has announced that Big Brother 11 will air but not until the summer of 2009. Due to the writer’s strike that occured earlier in 2008 CBS gave Big Brother the opportunity to air a fall installment of the popular summer reality show which was Big Brother 9 themed,”Till Death Do Us Part”( which was a great season by the way).

They immediately followed it up with their regular summer edition,Big Brother 10(which was awsome) in the summer of 2008. Fans were again hoping they might see another fall edition for the upcoming 2009 year.But it’s a no go for the fall. They won’t be back until the summer announced CBS in a September 22,2008 press release.

The show features 14 houseguests picked to live in a house for 3 months with no contact with the outside world . Each week two people get nominated for eviction and one person gets voted out for whatever reason by the other houseguests until 2 are left. Then a jury of the final 7 houseguests to get voted out leading up to that point vote for the winner of the final 2. The winner wins $500,000 and the runner up wins $50,000.
