Ha! Ha! Ha! Who’s the baddest mofo lowdown round this town? Samuel L. Jackson that’s who. Well, originally it was the late Julius Carry as the Shogun of Harlem in Barry Gordy’s “The Last Dragon”. Now Samuel L. Jackson will take on the role as the rough and tough Kung Fu master in a Remake of the 1985 Motown classic.
The movie centered around a young martial arts student named, Leroy Green(Taimak) who walked the streets of New York seeking a master that would take him to the final level known as the “Last Dragon” which would be accompanied by a sublime glow around the body making the posseser the greatest fighter alive. The remake is said to have a release date to coincide with Motown’s 50th anniversary next year.
