According to Daily Variety, Twentieth Century Fox has signed funny man, Jack Black on to do the movie, “Gulliver’s Travels”. Rob Letterman,director of “Shark Tales” has also signed on to direct the movie. Twentieth Century has kept it quiet for some time now,but when they were finally able to sign Jack Black on they gave it the green light. Shooting will begin in March 2009.
The film is about Lemuel Gulliver a travel writer that sails into the Bermuda Triangle while on assignment. After washing away on shore he finds himself on the island of Lilliput and is a giant among little men as the people there are very tiny. It should be interesting if it has Jack Black in it. Black will also being doing a “School of Rock Sequel”.
