In the 10th episode of season 1 “90210 Games People Play” picks up with the aftermath of Naomi seeing Annie and Ethan kissiing at school. Needless to say she’s stunned by the fact ,but more importantly she’s angry. So this is were we see the games begin.Naomi sets up Annie by flying her old unsuspecting ex boyfriend,Jason in to town for her 16th birthday party.Ryan has to take a leave of absense after hooking up with Kimberly the undercover cop so that she doesn’t blow her cover that involves posing as a highschool student.
Navid has to finally admit to Adrianna that he’s a virgin as she tries to start to try and move their relationship towards a sexual destination. Friction starts to grow between Annie and Ethan when Jason, Annie’s ex arrives in to town as he doesn’t know that Annie and Ethan are together because they’ve been keeping it a secret from everyone. Kelly comes back in to town and doesn’t believe that Ryan would make out with a highschool student.She eventually finds out that Kimberly is really an undercover cop . Ryan decides that he needs to leave town to clear his head.
Things come to a head at Annie’s 16th birthday party when Annie and Ethan walk in on Naomi making out with Annie’s ex, Jason. Naomi tells Annie that she set the whole thing up to get back at her for making out with Ethan. They go outside and have one hell of a heated argument (loved it) which in midflight is quickly interrupted by none other than Harry’s son that he had with Naomi’s mom back when they were in highschool shows up at the door. He apparently has been seeking them out. That should bring some extra added drama to an already drama filled show.
My take: 90210 is really coming along quite nicely. I liked this episode. It had some nice twists with Naomi playing Annie,and I like the spunk that Annie had when being confronted by Naomi in the end there – telling her like it is,and that she’s just a selfish bitch. Harry’s son showing up is a good twist to add. I just wish they would’ve let that Annie and Naomi argument play out a little longer. That was some good stuff.
