CW’s science fiction drama “The Reaper” is scheduled to start it’s second season on March 17,2009. The show is scheduled to run 13 episodes and is going to be put in the Tuesday night time slot following “90210″. The show is about a kid named , Sam Oliver(Bret Harrison) who’s parents sold his soul to the Devil before they new he would be born in exchange for returning his father’s good health .

They planned to cheat the Devil out of the deal by not having any kids,but Satan bribed their family doctor into telling them that they couldn’t conceive by wiping out his gambling debts. Shortly after that, Sam was born. Now, ever since his 21st birthday, he’s been forced to complete dangerous assignements for the Devil that consist of finding and sending evil souls that have escaped from Hell and sending them back using special tools that the Devil supplies for him. Sam is more or less each week continually trying to find a way to get out of his satan tourmented deal.

I was a regular viewer of this show and I’m glad to hear it was renewed because it was getting pretty good towards the end of the first season as the Devil was forcing him to betray his new found friends that are trying to help him out of his Devil deal.
