Keanu Reeves next big film will be for Universal Studios entitled, “47 Ronin”. It will be about a group of samurai swordsmen that avenge the death of their master in the 18th century around 1702 in Japan. Keanu will play one of the Swordsman. The movie will have a mix of fantasy elements seen in movies like, “Lord of the Rings” and rough battle scenes similar to those in “Gladiator”.Chris Morgan, who wrote the script for “Wanted” and the upcoming new “Fast and Furious” is writing the script for this film. They are supposed to start shooting it next year after they hire a director.

I think it’ll be cool to see Keanu in a movie like this mostly because he’s no stranger to Kung Fu fight scenes as seen in the “Matrix” trilogy. Also here’s a fun fact that I wasn’t aware of. Keanu Reeves is actually half Asian. It’s strange because now that I know this I have started to notice a bit of the Asian traits in him. Well, sort of anyways. Also don’t miss Keanu Reeves in the upcoming ” The Day the Earth Stood Still” movie coming up this weekend on December 12,2008. It looks really cool. He’s come a long way since playing one of the stoner phone booth time travelers in “Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure”.
