According to Aceshowbiz the former “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and recent “Gossip Girl” guest star, Michelle Trachtenberg will be reprising her guest star role as the scandalous,devious Georgina Sparks on the CW’s hit show, “Gossip Girl”. There is no script written for her yet,but the deal is done for her to return towards the end of this season . Apparently she did such a good job that they want to see more of Georgina’s evil plans.I’ve been following Trachtenberg’s career a little bit since her “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” days where she played little Dawn Summers who was Buffy’s(Sarah Michelle Gellar) manufactured little sister. Since then she’s gone on to co-star in some less high profile productions such as movies, “Eurotrip”,Ice Princess,and will be co-starring in the upcoming Zac Efron,Matthew Perry film, “17 Again”. I would say Her guest appearance on “Gossip Girl” is probably one of her biggest roles since her popular ” Buffy The Vampire Slayer” stint. She’s come a long way from playing the innocent little teary eyed sister of Buffy. It was interesting to see her take on this bad girl role.

In,Gossip Girl she plays Georgina Sparks an old friend of Serena(Blake Lively) who has returned to cause Serena nothing but trouble after she sees that she has changed from her old bad girl ways. She worked and plotted, Serena against her then boyfriend Dan by blackmailing her with an old video tape of her getting high with a guy while he overdosed and died. Serena was finally able to come out with the truth to end the blackmailing and Dan worked with Blair( Leighton Meester) to set Georgina up to get caught by her parents so they would send her away again. That was the last we saw of Georgina,but it looks like the “Gossip Girl” producers want her back so watch out cause her she comes.
