Funny man, Tracy Morgan (left) and Cloverfield’s TJ Miller (right) have signed on with Paramount Pictures to do a
comedy called, “Freshman Roommates”. The premise sounds pretty funny so I look forward to seeing this one when it’s complete. It’s about those crazy Nigerian email scams that I’m sure most of us have gotten at one time or another . For those of you who don’t know about them,these emails usually involve a prince,princess,prime minister,or a political refugee that promises to share his many millions of
dollars with the supposedly unsuspecting victim if he would only help him smuggle it into the United States.

“Freshman Roommates” will explore the scenario of what if one of the emails where real. Miller plays a college freshman who actually answers one the emails while drunk late one night. Eventually the son of a deposed African dictator (Tracy Morgan) shows up at his door looking to secure his money. I think it sounds like an interesting,and potentially very funny film with a unique plot. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for this one

Tracy Morgan played, hustleman back in the day on Martin Lawrence’s hit tv show, “Martin” in the early to mid 90’s and is recently starring in NBC’s “30 Rock”. TJ Miller is a comedian who recently played the character,Hudson Platt in the film, “Cloverfield”.
