Here is the trailer for the new action/drama movie, “State Of Play” boasting an all star cast. It stars : Russell Crowe, Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams, Robin Wright Penn, Jason Bateman, Jeff Daniels, Helen Mirren. I gotta tell you after watching this trailer I was mesmerized at how much crap they have going on in this film. I don’t think anyone would get bored watching it. You will, however need to follow it closely to know what the hell is going on.

The Plot : Russell Crowe plays D.C. reporter Cal McCaffrey who’s on a mission to uncover mysterious murders and collusion among top political and corporate figures in the world. Ben Affleck plays U.S. Congressman, Stephen Collins an honorable apointee who’s the chairman of a committee overseeing defense spending. He is anticipated to be his party’s top contender in the upcoming presidential election race.

But then his research assistant/mistress is brutally murdered which causes personal secrets to be revealed. Reporter, McCaffrey is an old friend of Collins,but now must become a ruthless editor hired by Cameron(Helen Mirren) to investigate the murder. As he investigates it, he is partnered with Della (Rachel McAdams) to try and find the killer. He then gets involved in a huge cover up which causes him to realize that no one’s integrity,love or life is ever really guaranteed.
