“Tyler Perry’s Madea Goes to Jail” hits the theaters on February 20,2009 . Tyler Perry is finally bringing the funny ass Madea back to life . The trailer is funny. This is going to be a very funny movie. I love the Madea character. It will also have Keshia Knight Pulliam in it. She’s the girl who played little Rudy Huxtable on the “Cosby Show” way back when.

The Plot / Synopsis : In this 2009 installment of the funny, Madea (Tyler Perry), grandmomma chronicles, Madea get caught up in a high speed chase which lands her in court,but her failure to control her angry temper lands her in jail. Gleeful Joe (Tyler Perry) is happy to see her behind bars,but her other family members,the Browns (David and Tamala Mann) stand behind her, and give her support.

Meanwhile, Assistant District Attorney Joshua Hardaway (Derek Luke) finds himself in a case where the defendant, Candace Washington (Keisha Knight Pulliam) who is a young prostitute and former drug addict is to close to him because he was friends with her in the past. He asks another attorney to take over the case for him. Candace eventually ends up in jail, and Madea ends up befriending her and protecting her in crazy grandmomma style.
