Jennifer Aniston is teaming up to do yet another romantic comedy with Jason Bateman entitled, “Baster”. It’s set to start shooting this spring. “Baster”is going to be about two best friends, Wally( Bateman) and Kassie (Aniston). Kassie, is planning to have a child through artificial insemination,and when Wally finds out ; he replaces the donor’s semen with his. So, now Wally must live with the secret fact that he’s really the father of her child.

The film will be produced by Mandate Pictures. You can catch Jennifer Aniston in, “He’s Just Not That Into You” which is in theaters now. And you can see Jason Bateman this April in the high action, drama film, “State of Play”.

Is it just me or does the plot of this “Baster” film sound kinda creepy ? I don’t know why they would fund something like this, but who knows. Maybe it’ll be a big hit, but I seriously doubt it. As far as the comedy part of the film, I think that’ll pretty much end once he switches the semen. Also, what’s up with Jennifer Aniston ? Can she not get anything other than romantic comedy films ? I mean what is the dealio ? I’ve often wondered if Jennifer Aniston could actually maybe branch out, and do like an action chic flick or something. Maybe even a horror flick. Somebody in Hollywood please offer her a role with a little bit more diversity. I like Jason Bateman, and thought he was excellent in Hancock. I also loved the old “Hogan Family” days.
