The Plot / Synopsis : Based on the 1974 TV series “Land of the Lost”. Will Ferrell plays a has-been scientist, Dr. Rick Marshall who somehow gets sucked back through time along with a crack-smart research assistant Holly (Anna Friel) and a redneck survivalist (Danny McBride) named Will.

They all end up in what looks to be the Dinosaur age as they get chased by a huge T-Rex, stalked by reptiles known as Sleestaks, and other ancient creatures. They must rely on a primate named Chaka, (Jorma Taccone) the only one who can help them navigate through the strange land so they can eventually make their way out, or be forever stuck in the “Land of The Lost”.
