The Plot / Synopsis : Danny, a nerdy high school senior has spent six hundred bucks on a hotel room,limo,and a tux for his prom before he even finds a date. His newly divorced parents give him crappy advice while his best friend makes fun of him. Danny battles peer pressure, teen angst and his own raging hormones as he quickly tries to find a date for the prom.

Danny starts to panic when the biggest geek in school named Bart finds a prom date before he does, and also a hotel for the night. Danny’s dad is funny,and very blunt about sex talk. He also gives Danny more rotten advice about a girl he hangs out with a lot which causes him to jump to the wrong conclusions about how she feels about him. The film has a lot of funny quirky moments along with a sort of “Napoleon Dynamite” feel to it.
