Angelina Jolie has begun filming her new movie “Salt” which was a role originally given to Tom Cruise, but then given to Angelina when they changed the character to a female amongst various other reasons like Angelina might be more of a draw than Tom these days as far as action films go. But I won’t go to deep into that right now. Apparently in the “Salt” movie, she’s going to have many different looks . She’ll be blonde and brunette. She may carry a dagger, she may carry a gun, then again she may have neither which is is going to be kind of the preface of the film. They want to keep you guessing.
Loreno di Bonaventura, the producer of the film who also produced Transformers and the upcoming G.I. Joe states that, “People who think they know the real her may or may not. Those who think they can tell whether she’s in a disguise also may or may not. “You’re supposed to be kept guessing. She tells you her agenda, but are you supposed to believe it?”
Her character is named Evelyn A. Salt which was originally Edwin A. Salt when Tom Cruise had the role before bowing out. She’s a rogue CIA agent who is on a quest to prove her innocence, and clear her name after being accused of being a Russian sleeper agent. The question is was she falsely accused or was she not ? That apparently will be a predominant premise to this film which I think I really like and know it’ll be good with Angela Jolie as the star.
