Rapper,Singer,Actress, Queen Latifah is set to star in a Fox Searchlight romantic / comedy movie entitled, “Just Wright”. This project has actually been sitting in waiting for about six years with Disney until Fox Searchlight went ahead and decided to pick it up. The movie is supposed to be a modern day Cinderella story which centers around a female therapist who falls in love with a basketball player while trying to help him recover from a career threatening injury.

Fox Searchlight is looking to start filming the movie in late May of 2009. They’ve also worked with Queen Latifah in the past on “The Secret Life of Bees” movie. This will be the second romantic comedy that she’s toplined since Paramount’s “Last Holiday” movie where she played, Georgia Byrd a cookware department employee with dreams of a better life. Latifah is going to be co – producing “Just Wright” with her old Flavor Unit partner, Shakim Compere and Debra Martin Chase.

I’m not to sure about this film,but I really like Queen Latifah in “The Beauty Shop” movie a couple of years ago. It was very funny. Also her role in “The Barber Shop 2″ was freakin hilarious.
