CW’s ‘Supernatural’ Comes Strong With A Prophet

The CW aired another new episode of “Supernatural” tonight (April 2,2009) entitled “The Monster at the End of This Book”. I must say it was one of the season’s strongest episodes. I was totally intrigued right from the start. Julie Siege, the writer for this episode is an absolute genius. Basically the show pitched the idea of, what if there’s a guy somewhere that Dean and Sam don’t know about who’s writing everything they’ve been through from beginning to end,and has actually published a whole series of books on it entitled , (you’ll never guess this one) “Supernatural”.

Dean and Sam soon discover this fact when they come across one of the books in a comic book store. The books aren’t really hot sellers, but they definitely spark Dean and Sam’s interest as they tell of their lives with exact precision. Dean and Sam move swiftly to hunt down the author who is writer, Carver Edlund (guest star Rob Benedict). It is eventually made known to all three of them that Carver is actually a prophet of the Lord who is destined to foretell the Gospel of Dean and Sam. In this episode, that very fact helps get them out of a dreadful bind with a very powerful demon named, Lilith.

The show was highly entertaining. I give big Kudos to the director, Mike Rohl and the writer, Julie Siege.
