It seems like these days, that eveyone wants to get in on a piece of the hot new “Twilight” sequel, “New Moon”,but only a few lucky new comers have made it on board. One such new comer is, 20 year old Jamie Campbell-Bower. He’s been in such films as “RockNRolla” and Johnny Depp’s “Sweeney Todd”. Now, he will play Caius in “New Moon” who is part of Dakota Fanning’s Volturi clan.

Caius is part of an Italian coven of vampires. According to the Stephanie Meyer’s novel which this movie is derived from, Caius is one of the leaders of the Volturi clan of vampires, and is insistent that Bella not be allowed to leave Italy alive. Caius is also one of only three vampires in Italy who live what Edward Cullen’s character describes as a very civilized lifestyle.

Jamie told MTV that he’ll be going over to Vancouver to start filming in June 2009 . he said he has quit a bit of work to do since he hasn’t read any of Stephanie Meyer’s books, but he very much realizes that it’s a great thing to be a part of the “New Moon” cast.
