Miley Cyrus announced on her website that she’ll be performing on American Idol on April 15,2009. Although the show hasn’t officially made the announcement that she’ll be performing, I believe Miley. I don’t think she would need to lie about anything like this. I mean she is like a mega star,now,right ? She also revealed that she’ll be performing her new song, “The Climb” which I have not yet heard, but I’m sure all her many fans have especially since the song loads up when you visit her website. She also tweeted on “Twitter” that she really likes the fellow 16 year old performer, Allison Iraheta, and is telling people to vote for her.

While I’m not really a fan of her music,I’m sure her appearance will boost the already popular American Idol show’s ratings,and in turn help her sell more albums. They have already had some pretty big stars perform this season including recent Billboard chartbuster, Lady Gaga. I know that since American Idol is watched by millions,it’s definately a way for artists to get their music out there even more.
