The official release date for the sequel to the hit movie and former HBO tv series, “Sex and the City” has been set for May 28,2010 by Warner Bros and New Line Cinemas according to a couple of my sources. Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon are all set to return for the sequel, and Michael Patrick will be returning to again write and direct the film. As of yet, they haven’t set a date to start filming. There’s also currently no plot that I’m aware of,but I’ll keep all you “Sex and the City” fans up to date on this one.
I never did watch the movie, but I have caught the show a couple of times on late night reruns. It’s ok. It’s also financially feasible since the first one grossed about $152 million at the U.S. box office and another 260 million internationally. So, yeah with numbers like that, be prepared to see more and more “Sex and the City” sequels to come.
