The sixth installment of the popular Harry Potter movie franchise entitled , “Harry Potter and the Half- Blooded Prince” is moving it’s release date up by two days from Friday July 17,2009 to Wednesday July 15,2009. It was originally scheduled to come out a whopping eight months earlier, but then it got postponed do to various reasons. None of which can be confirmed, true to this day.

The studio made this move because they know the kids will be out of school for the summertime,and there will be hardly in competition for the movie that week so they think they’ll be able to rake in the dough. I’m not really sure about the rationalization of the kids being out of school since most of their parents still have to work. On the other hand, the kids who are old enough to go to the movies by themselves could go see it. I’ve just never really been fond of Wednesday movie openings, but whatever. Anyways, the studio goes on to say it will be like two debut weekends for their big “Harry Potter” movie.
