Eminem’s next single, “3 A.M.” from his new album, “Relapse” leaked online today (4-23-09). It has more of a hardcore, grungy, underground type of sound to it which I personally do not like. I totally loved the “We Made You” song, and I really thought that Eminem was going to get back to his funny roots which really made him unique. But according to him and what he said on his Sirius satellite radio show, the “3 A.M.” track is going to be what the majority of his album would sound like. If this is truly the case I will be very disappointed.
He went on to say that the video for “3 A.M.” has already been filmed in Detroit, and will be released on May 19,2009. All I can say, is that I can definitely wait. He said that the “We Made You” song was more of just a spoof song, but I feel like that should be what his entire album is like. That stuff is funny,and sounds good. The “Crack a Bottle” jam was good also. That’s a good flow right there.

Update : Hey,everybody. I’ve heard your opinions on this matter. I would like to retract the previous statement as I didn’t explain it as well as I should have. I like Eminem’s lyrics. I think they’re super tight. I just don’t like the particular beat that he uses for “3 A.M.”. I’m really particular about beats,and that one just didn’t do it for me. I respect all your opinions. All of his first singles sound like that (garbage). If you’d honestly listen to an entire album of that shit, then your opinion is worthless to anyone with good taste in music.
We would you want an album of spoof songs? Eminem is not about that – only on the first single. After that it is straight raw. This is what we’ve been waiting for.

I can’t believe what I am hearing from the original poster. I am one of the fans whose was shocked to hear em rap about slim shady being “Rock a bye baby” before his hiatis. I am a huge fan so it goes without saying that I have all of his albums and mix tapes and featured tracks and have enjoyed both of the new tracks. 3am is actually the better one in my opinion. “We made you” reminded of me of “without me” his first single in 2002. Point is things have changed in 4 years. He had a divorce and his best friend was gunned down. This won’t be a jokey album. It’s going to be rather dark. It’s been a while since I heard a new eminem rap about killing people. I”m having a relapse” was great. Get a clue

i disagree with you, this song shows much better lyricism than we made you and it is back to eminem’s phsyco roots of slim shady with the killing and split personality.

right, that first single is his goofy garbage, im looking for his “infinite” style to come back. 3am is getting close to him being real, but it can def get better.
