The popular comic book “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”,and their master Splinter are officially headed back to the theaters for some more box office action. The last time they saw it was way back in 1993 with “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: Turtles In Time”. Heck I was just a teenager then. Also these comic book creatures began way back in 1984 which I was not aware of. They started out as just a comic book series,and then got their own cartoon show back in the late 80′s and early 90′s. And after that of course they came out with the the three feature films.

Then in 2003, they returned to television with a new generation cartoon show. Scott Mednick and Galen Walker are producing the new movie. Galen Walker is responsible for producing the latest cartoon installment for the franchise.

The new “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” movie is set for a 2011 release. And also rather than continue the storyline from the last movie installment,they are going to just return to the origin of the characters and redo it that way. I personally am not sure how I feel about it. I know I saw the first two films back in the early 90′s,and I thought they were well,just ok. We’ll see. Maybe they’ll do something better with the movie this time around.
