‘Observe and Report’ Movie Review

Although “Observe and Report” did have it’s differences to the Kevin James “Paul Blart” movie, it was way to similar in the overall scheme of the way the film played out.
The plot involved Seth Rogen’s character, Ronnie Barnhardt as a, you guessed it, mall cop with dreams of bigger things ,and who’s ego is way bigger than who he actually is. He also has a crush on a girl named, Brandi (Anna Farris) that works in the mall at the beauty department. Everytime he tries to talk to her, he says weird and crazy things to her. There’s also a crazy flasher who runs around the mall parking lot, showing his genetals to everyone. Ronnie Barnhardt’s number one goal is to bring down the flasher.
The mall, however brings in a real detective named, Detective Harris ( Ray Liotta). Read the rest of this entry »
Eminem’s New ’3 A.M.’ Track Leaked Online Today

Eminem’s next single, “3 A.M.” from his new album, “Relapse” leaked online today (4-23-09). It has more of a hardcore, grungy, underground type of sound to it which I personally do not like. I totally loved the “We Made You” song, and I really thought that Eminem was going to get back to his funny roots which really made him unique. But according to him and what he said on his Sirius satellite radio show, the “3 A.M.” track is going to be what the majority of his album would sound like. If this is truly the case I will be very disappointed.
He went on to say that the video for “3 A.M.” has already been filmed in Detroit, and will be released on May 19,2009. All I can say, is that I can definitely wait. He said that the “We Made You” song was more of just a spoof song, but I feel like that should be what his entire album is like. That stuff is funny, and sounds good. The “Crack a Bottle” jam was good also. That’s a good flow right there.
You can listen to Eminem’s new “3 A.M.” track by Clicking Here.
Update : Hey,everybody. I’ve heard your opinions on this matter. I would like to retract the previous statement as I didn’t explain it as well as I should have. I like Eminem’s lyrics. I think they’re super tight. I just don’t like the particular beat that he uses for “3 A.M.”. I’m really particular about beats, and that one just didn’t do it for me. I respect all your opinions. Much love.
Anoop & Lil Both Get ‘American Idol’ Drop Kick

Last night (4-22-09) on American Idol. The seven finalist kicked off the double elimination show with a Paula Abdul choreographed routine. Then they got right down to business with the eliminations which involved Lil Rounds quickly being told that it was the end of the road for her. I actually kind of thought that sucked because she was a very good singer, but I suspect America has chosen their favorites at this point ,and they just won’t budge as Anoop and Lil have been in the final three for I don’t know how long now. It was to the point where you could bet millions without hesitation that they would be in the bottom three. Read the rest of this entry »
‘Breaking Dawn’, Twilight’s 4th Sequel to Start Filming, Spring 2010

According to some of my sources, the fourth installment to the popular Stephanie Meyers “Twilight” movie series entitled, “Breaking Dawn” has already been green lit by Summit Entertainment, and should start filming in the spring of 2010. The third installment entitled ,’Eclipse” which is to precede “Breaking Dawn” has a June 2010 release date. And then “Breaking Dawn” is supposed to be released later that same year so the cast of these movies are going to be extremely busy during this time.
However, the cast is supposed to get some rest after shooting the second installment, “New Moon” which is currently filming in Vancouver. Also contrary to popular rumors, Drew Barrymore will not be directing “Eclipse”. Read the rest of this entry »
Sean ‘P Ditty’ Combs in ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall’ Spin Off

This is more like two stories in one. Yes, there is going to be a spin off to the hit comedy, “Forgetting Sarah Marshall”. Also hit record producer, Sean “P Ditty” Combs will be co-starring in it. The movie is going to be titled, “Get Him to the Greek”. The movie is going to follow the further adventures Russell Brand’s character, Aldous Snow.
He played the rock star who Sarah Marshall started dating after her break up with jingle writer, Peter in “forgetting Sarah Marshall”. His character is extremely funny, and I can see how they could put together a sequel or spin off with him as the main character. Sean “P Ditty” Combs will play a record producer in the film (go figure).
The film’s plot Read the rest of this entry »
‘Crank : High Voltage’ Movie Review

Jason Statham is back as hitman, Chev Chelios, but this time he takes huge fall from a very, very high place. A whole bunch of Asian dudes take him to a private hospital, and take his heart out so they can transplant it into some old Asian guy. They give Chev a fake inferior artificial heart that runs on a four or five bar battery pack. Then when that goes out, it has a one hour internal backup battery. After that, it’s lights out for Chev. But I gotta tell you he makes the most out of this little fake heart because there’s another option. If he can somehow keep himself electrically charged then that heart won’t go out on him. this one fact sets the stage for a pretty exciting movie.
As he races across Los Angeles to try and get his heart back he faces many challenges from police cops, fast get away cars,a crazy Asian hottie named,Ria (Bai Ling) who has a major crush on him,and some gang that wants to beat the life out of him. Read the rest of this entry »
3rd and Final ‘Harry Potter’ 6 Movie Trailer Released

The 3rd “Harry Potter and The Half-Blooded Prince” movie trailer was released a couple of days ago. It looks really impressive. I think I might know why they needed the extra 8 month delay for the release date of this film. It did no to waste. The final trailer gives more insight into the movie’s plot. It shows how Voldemort picks Draco Malfoy to work with on a mission.
It also shows a bunch of wizards, magic, flames, and all kinds of mystical powers being tossed about from here to there. It’s a total special effects extravaganza. Yeah, the people on the “Harry Potter” set don’t mess around when it comes to the special effects. They “Bring It”. Read the rest of this entry »
’17 Again’ Movie Review

In “17 Again” Zac Efron plays the teen version of Mike O’Donnell and Matthew Perry plays the adult Mike O’Donnell. In this funny comedy Mike O’Donnell gave up his college basketball opportunity when he finds out his girlfriend is pregnant and runs off the court during the final seconds of a basketball game with a college scout watching.
Now, 20 years later he starts to blame her, isn’t close with his kids, and is getting ready to have a divorce. One night he falls over a bridge while chasing after a mysterious old man he met earlier at his old high school. After he emerges,he realizes he’s “17 Again”. Thinking that he has a chance to do it all over again, he returns to high school, and asks hs best friend, Ned Gold (Thomas Lennon) to play his dad so he can enroll him in school. He joins the basketball team and starts redo his senior year of high school all over again, but in the midst of it all he starts to learn a couple of other things. Read the rest of this entry »

Efron, Box Office # 1 Again With ’17 Again’
“17 Again”, the new comedy starring Zac Efron led the box office this weekend with a better than expected 24.1 million in ticket sales says Warner Bros. Behind it came the action packed drama, “State of Play” with $41.1 million distributed by Universal Pictures which I personally did not see because I just thought it would board the living daylight out of me.
Last weeks # 1 “Hanna Montana : The Movie” came in at # 4 for bringing in only $12.7 million in it’s second weekend. Monsters vs. Aliens just edged it out at $12.9 million to come in at the number 3 spot for the week. Read the rest of this entry »
