Well, it looks like Warner Bros. has made it’s decision in who will play Johnny Quest in their new well, “Johnny Quest” movie. It’s none other than Zac Efron . Two things surprise me with this news . The first being that Warner Bros might not be sticking with the “Johnny Quest” name which to me seems like the whole point. Ya know ? The whole “cash in on the name” thing. Anyways this is the second franchise to do this. First with the “Karate Kid” changing to the “Kung Fu Kid”, and now this.

Apparently the supposed Warner Bros. thinking is that, to many people will confuse it with the popular cartoon version, and not go see it. I don’t really know about that,but what I do think is that if they change the name, they’ve got a definite uphill battle to climb in terms of marketing as it will have no name recognition. I think I reported a “Bourne Identity” 4 movie in the works way back in October of 2008 ,but now here’s some news of an actual release date for the fourth installment of the franchise. Well, sort of, anyways. Frank Marshall, the producer of the “Bourne Identity” movies announced on his “Twitter” page that they’re currently shooting for a 2011 release date. In the past, he was trying for a 2010 release date.

I know, it’s still far off but people will be trying to track down this page in about a year and a half. I’m sure that they’ll definitely have Matt Damon back or else I probably won’t see it just out of spite, dammit. There’s currently no plot that I’m aware of yet, but I’ll keep you posted. If nothing else it’s something for you to start looking forward to once this year ends. Oh,wait not this year, but once at least half of next year ends. Yeah, that’s right.

Ok, here we go. I’ve got more “New Moon”casting news for you guys. Michael Sheen, the guy who played the head werewolf of the Lycans in the “Underworld” movies has now been cast to play the head of the vampire coven, “Volturi” in the “Twilight” sequel, “New Moon”. He will be joining Kristen Stewart as Bella and Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen in the sequel.

In the “New Moon” film Bella will be drawn into the world of werewolves where her loyalties will be tested as she is threatened by the Volturi vampires. Read the rest of this entry »

On Tuesday April 7,2009,the hip hop / r&b star Chris Brown pleaded not guilty to felony charges of making criminal threats and felony assults in the altercation that happened between him, and his girlfriend, pop singer, Rihanna on February 8,2009. The charges were filed on him last month. The two felonies that he was charged with are : assault likely to cause bodily injury and making criminal threats.

Rihanna’s lawyer, Donald Etra said that Rihanna wanted a plea deal for Chris before any hearings or a trial came about. She said that she would testify if necessary,though. If Chris is convicted, he could face up to a possible five years in prison. Read the rest of this entry »

Actor, Jamie Waylett who plays the Slytherin bully Vincent Crabbe in the Harry Potter films got busted “ridin dirty”(like the popular song suggest) in London for possession of marijuana in a report from some of my sources. Jamie Waylett and one of his friends were driving,and got pulled over . When the cops searched his car, they found like eight bags of marijuana inside. They, then raided his house later on, where he lives with his mom and three siblings. They found more there, in the form of 10 cannabis plants growing under hydroponic light next to a Sony Playstation. Go figure. There’s nothin like playing video games and getting high I guess.

Waylett, is set to go back to court in July. His character in the movie Vincent Crabbe is physically strong,but mentally inferior. Read the rest of this entry »

One of Spider-Man’s biggest enemies, Venom from Spider-Man 3 may be about to get its own solo movie. Sony has hired writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick to start writing a film based soley on the “Venom” character. “Venom” is an evil version of Spider-Man created by the symbiosis of an alien life form and a human to host it.

There’s currently no known plot available or any information on who may star in the film,but it does sound interesting. In Spider-Man 3, “Venom” had all the powers of Spider-Man with a few added editions of big freakin alligator looking teeth and a slithering tongue.More like Spider-Gator or something. Mr. Bill O’Reilly who is a news host for Fox News is apparently disgusted with Eminem’s new music video, “We Made You”. He says that Eminem is vile,and that few Americans take him seriously which I think just may be the whole point. It’s just entertainment, it’s not supposed to be taken seriously. Anyways, he goes on to state that Eminem represents the lowest form of entertainment,and is just a media hound.

O’Reilly was really upset at the lyrics that involved Sarah Palin, the former Republican vice presidential candidate, and called them misogynist, whatever that means. Apparently it’s something bad I guess. He knocked the lyrics that stated Read the rest of this entry »
