It’s been reported that Hayden Panettiere, co-star of NBC’s hit show “Heroes” ,and co-star of the upcoming comedy movie, “I Love You,Beth Cooper” has auditioned for the role of Ariel Moore in the “Footloose” remake which originally starred Kevin Bacon. Ariel Moore is character, Ren McCormack’s love interest in the movie.

My sources say that Hayden really impressed director, Kenny Ortega and others on the “Footloose” set when she did her singing audition for them. Apparently she’s a really good singer,and also had a pop single out last year entitled, “Wake Up Call”.Her next audition will be a dance audition which I’m sure she will most likely nail since she has a ton of experience in that arena as well. I saw her in the third installment of the “Bring It On” cheerleader movie franchise where she had to learn some pretty intense dance moves.

Then after that audition she’ll most likely do a read with the new possible lead in the movie, “Gossip Girl’s” Chase Crawford who is looking to fill the shoes of bail out boy,himself, Zac Efron who recently quit the film, midflight. But I mean who are we kidding here with all these audition news ? Hayden has a ton of acting experience,and everyone knows who she is from “Heroes” so I don’t see her possibly blowing this audition at all. In fact, I don’t know why it just wasn’t offered to her unless she’s competing with some other big name actor that I don’t know about.
