20th Century Fox’s X-Men Origins : Wolverine sliced,slashed, and diced it’s way to the top of the box office this weekend by bringing in $87 million dollars in ticket sales,and I can’t say why it shouldn’t have. It was an excellent movie.Apparently the movie being leaked online about a month are so ago did not affect it’s ticket sales to much,but who knows? It might have done $100 million this weekend had it not been for the online leaking. It starred Hugh Jackman as Logan / Wolverine, and went back in time to the character’s origins to show how Logan came to be the intense slashing mutant.

Also the very funny “Ghost of Girlfriends Past” came in 2nd place with $15.3 million,and last week’s winner, “Obsessed” dropped to number 3 with $12.2 million which I think is about right considering most people saw “Obsessed” last weekend, and although it was good movie. It wasn’t a blockbuster. Hence the reason for the drop. “Ghost of Girlfriends Past” was extremely funny and entertaining. I thought it deserved it’s 2nd place spot.
