CBS rapped up it’s 18th season of “Survivor” entitled “Survivor : Tocantins” tonight (5-17-09),and the seven “Survivor” tribe peer members voted James “J.T.” Thomas Jr. to be the winner of the 18th installment of “Survivor” which was set in the rugged interior of Brazil. The show began with 16 players, and slowly but surely made it’s way down to the final two which consisted of James Thomas and New Yorker Stephen Fishbach on tonight’s finale.

James will take home $1 million before taxes to his home in Samson, Alabama where he owns a cattle-ranching business. I caught some of tonight’s episode, and they had a really interesting final competition which consisted of a ball maze game. It was really mental to see who could last the longest. It was rather unique and entertaining.

At the end of the show they showed a preview of where the 19th installment of Survivor would take place. They confirmed that it will take place in Samoa. So all you die hard “Survivor” fans have that to look forward to.
