At approximately 9:02 pm central time,May 20,2009, Kris Allen was crowned the new “American Idol” 2009 Champion. It was a star filled night with performances from Lionel Richie,Fergie,the Black Eyed Peas,David Cook,Cyndi Lauper,Queen Latifah,and more. Also there was a great little segment which brought the bikini girl back to perform ,but at the time she was singing, Kara Dioguardi interrupted her,and started outsinging her of course. Then, to cap off that little performance she unbuttoned her dress to reveal herself in a bikini as well. I must say Kara has a great Bod. That was highlight of the night if you ask me.
We of course also saw all the American Idol finalist return to perform some of the cheesiest songs on the planet. I swear I could barely sit through it. All in All,though it was a pretty fun and entertaining show as they looked back at some of the more rememberable moments this season from the funny audition rounds. And,again to cap off the night with suspense,they announced Kris Allen as the 8th “American Idol” champion over Adam Lambert .
I personally thought he would win. He seemed to have more variety to his performances. He was very unique,and he performed his songs quite well especially with the guitar. While Adam did have great vocals, he sort of seemed more one dimensional to me. Kris also had a huge fan base which I started to realize in the later rounds when he would easily advance through rounds that I thought he wouldn’t. Well, that’s it for “American Idol” 2009, but don’t worry, we know it’ll be back in January of 2010. You can also catch this year’s finalist on the road as they start their “American Idol” tour.

I will never watch American Idol again it is a joke Kris is no better then the guy in any collage coffee house. Adam lambert is my Idol. All the fools and bigots in America can have kris. I will never watch Fox or AI again.
