Hey, now I know why Britney Spears put out two albums in back to back years (2007 and 2008). It’s because according to recent reports, she spent about $13.5 million of her $15.5 million dollar earnings she made in 2008. Apparently she spent about $1.23 million a month mostly on security and staff. She spent about $600,000 on security,and $240,000 on her kids. Also a really large chunk of her cash was spent on legal fees and paying off her ex-husband Kevin Federline to cover his family court costs for battling over the custody of the kids after having a bitter divorce.
Next is her living expenses which calculate to be over $500,000 for the year do to home repairs,mortgage on a Los Angeles home,rent on a Malibu home,cable and satellite bills,and pet care. Then she also gave up $10,000 a month on staying in shape with personal trainers, diet and exercise programs. I have to admit those personal trainers did do a good job getting her into shape,though.
The thing about Britney is that she can just put out another album,and make all that money back very quickly which is what she did with the “Circus” album.I believe what happened was that her people were like look Britney, even though it’s only been a year since you put out your last album, we’re gonna need you to make another one fast,and tour a whole lot so we can get paid,and make up for all these bills . Hence the “Circus” album was born. And when you’re Britney Spears, you can do exactly that.

It’s been reported that Britney Spears is planning to bring her “Circus” tour to Australia, with tour dates scheduled for late 2009.
Industry talk seems to suggest that tour promoters are currently in talks with Britney’s management, with Michael Gudinski of Frontier Touring telling the Sunday Telegraph that he doesn’t “expect anything will be worked out or finalised for a month, but we’re in there.”
If the rumours are true, this will be Britney’s first ever Australian tour. Would you go and see Britney in concert?
