Katie Voegele who plays the character of Mia Catalano on CW’s hit show, “One Tree Hill” is currently going to be hitting the road again to promote her music. Now that “One Tree Hill” has finished up it’s 6th season,she has time to do so. Katie is currently signed to Interscope Records,and her second studio album entitled, “A Fine Mess” was released earlier in May (2009).

She said in an interview that she’s very excited to be back on tour. She originally played a keyboardist for a band on “One Tree Hill” that Peyton signed to her startup record label. Eventually, Peyton dropped the band do to indifferences,but kept Mia on as a solo artist. Her character has stuck around every since then. Katie has performed many of her songs on the show which has given her great publicity.

She will be playing at the HiFi Club in Calgary,Canada to promote her latest CD which has sold 250,000 copies so far and the first single off the album entitled, “Don’t Look Away” has peaked as high as # 5 on iTunes.

As for “One Tree Hill”, she says she loves acting on it,and that’s it’s been a great new experience. As for her status on the show, she said she’s just going episode by episode,and if they want her back then she’ll gladly return.
