‘Ghost Of Girlfriends Past’ Movie Review

While I’m not usually a fan of Romantic Comedies, I do occasionally like to go see them when I know they’re going to be more funny than romantic. This film was just that in every sense of the word as Matthew McConaughey plays the very funny character of Connor Mead who is a famous, womanizing photographer. In the beginning of this film, we see Connor Mead photographing one of the models who is none other than the sexy singer, Christine Milian. He ends up making out with her while he breaks up with three other girls he was dating at the same time on a conference call. It was very funny stuff. He is then reminded by his assistant that he is supposed to be the best man at his brother’s wedding.
Bitter at the whole idea of marriage, Connor doesn’t provide a very positive presence at his brother’s house. Read the rest of this entry »
‘X-Men Origins : Wolverine’ Movie Review

This movie was absolutely excellent, and totally rocked as it went back in time to the beginnings of Logan (Hugh Jackman) better known as “Wolverine”. We also got to see the origins of his brother,Victor Creed (Liev Schreiber) known as, “Sabretooth”. It showed that Logan goes from a sickly child one moment to a revengeful killer the next. Victor likes it, as he realizes that his “always sick little brother” is a mutant just like him. So they run off together to fight in wars while servicing in the military. But then Victor starts to fall off the wagon a little bit. He starts attacking civilians, and some of his own team members. Logan who’s vowed to stand by his brother gets taken down with him and thrown in prison.
This is when the movie takes a turning point as Scientist, William Stryker (Danny Huston) comes onto the scene. Read the rest of this entry »

Paramount Releases New ‘Transformers 2′ Movie Trailer

I just got an email from Paramount Pictures today stating that they’ve released another trailer for their big epic “Transformers” sequel film entitled, “Transformers : Revenge of The Fallen”. In this trailer we see a lot more action, and I just don’t mean from the Transformers. Although, there is a lot of transformer action as well. I’m talking about that hot little Megan Fox. They show some clips of her that would turn the gayest man on the planet, straight. Brian Austin Green, how did you mess that up ? Anyways, I digress. Read the rest of this entry »
Channing Tatum Might Be in a Twilight ‘Eclipse’ Fight

My sources say that Melissa Rosenberg who is the writer for “Twilight”,and the future follow up movie to “New Moon” entitled, “Eclipse” that she would be interested in seeing Channing Tatum, the star of the recent “Fighting” film, play new born vampire named Riley in “Eclipse”. Riley’s character is supposed to be apart of an army that takes on Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart).
He is also a puppet for for Victoria who is a bad female vampire who doesn’t really want Riley, and just uses him. He eventually has to come to terms with the fact that Victoria doesn’t want him which is drama that writer, Melissa Rosenberg thinks Channing would be great at pulling off. Hayden Panettiere Is About To Get ‘Footloose’

It’s been reported that Hayden Panettiere, co-star of NBC’s hit show “Heroes” ,and co-star of the upcoming comedy movie, “I Love You,Beth Cooper” has auditioned for the role of Ariel Moore in the “Footloose” remake which originally starred Kevin Bacon. Ariel Moore is character, Ren McCormack’s love interest in the movie.
My sources say that Hayden really impressed director, Kenny Ortega and others on the “Footloose” set when she did her singing audition for them. Apparently she’s a really good singer, and also had a pop single out last year entitled, “Wake Up Call”.Her next audition will be a dance audition which I’m sure she will most likely nail since she has a ton of experience in that arena as well. More ‘Star Trek’ Movie Clips Revealed

MTV doesn’t mess around when it come to delivering us the latest movie clips from high profile movies. In this series of “Star Trek” movie clips it sort of feels like you’re watching the entire film. In the first clip we see Captain James T. Kirk (Chris Pine) trying to pick up a girl named Uhura (Zoe Saldana) at a bar. In the 2nd clip James Kirk gets a lecture from some guy about how he should be more like his father. It looks like sort of a dull moment in the film.
In the 3rd clip things start to get a little intense as some mental case is worried about what might happen if something goes wrong on their flight. The fourth clip shows some men talking about the ship that Spock (Zachary Quinto) is on,and then they break into “fight” mode. Read the rest of this entry »
‘Dragonball : Evolution’ Movie Review

In this action packed film, Justin Chatwin plays Goku who is a martial arts master trained by his Grandpa Gohan (Randall Duk Kim). However, he’s bullied at school because he made a promise to his Grandpa that he would never fight anyone. While, not the most important part of the movie, it is entertaining to see the creative reasoning he uses to overcome the details of that promise to eventually kick those bullie’s butts. I just love that kinda stuff. Continuing on, his grandpa gives him one of the sacred seven “Dragonballs” as an 18th birthday present. He also teaches Goku to never forget who he is which turns out to be a very important piece of advice in the movie.
Lord Piccolo played by “Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s” James Martsters returns from banishment to reclaim the seven “Dragonballs”. Read the rest of this entry »
