At approximately 9:02 pm central time,May 20,2009, Kris Allen was crowned the new “American Idol” 2009 Champion. It was a star filled night with performances from Lionel Richie,Fergie,the Black Eyed Peas,David Cook,Cyndi Lauper,Queen Latifah,and more. Also there was a great little segment which brought the bikini girl back to perform ,but at the time she was singing, Kara Dioguardi interrupted her,and started outsinging her of course. Then, to cap off that little performance she unbuttoned her dress to reveal herself in a bikini as well. I must say Kara has a great Bod. That was highlight of the night if you ask me.

We of course also saw all the American Idol finalist return to perform some of the cheesiest songs on the planet. I swear I could barely sit through it. All in All,though it was a pretty fun and entertaining show as they looked back at some of the more rememberable moments this season from the funny audition rounds. And,again to cap off the night with suspense,they announced Kris Allen as the 8th “American Idol” champion over Adam Lambert . Read the rest of this entry »

On (5-19-09), Eminem’s latest studio album entitled Relapse released. This is his second video off the album entitled, “3 A.M.” The single was produced by Dr. Dre and released on April 23, 2009 on Eminem’s Sirius Satellite Radio Show, “Shade 45″. 3 A.M. debuted at # 32 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts with 66,000 downloads in its first week.

The “3 A.M.” music video was shot in Detroit at 3am with director Syndrome who is also the director the “Crack a Bottle” music video. It made it’s debut on Cinemax May 2,2009 before the movie, “The Strangers” The video shows Eminem playing a serial killer who has escaped from a rehabilitation clinic,and starts to kill anyone who tries to stop him. The old school very popular late 80′s and early 90′s R&B star, Al B. Sure is making a return to the recording side of the music industry with his new album entitled “Honey I’m Home” with Hidden Beach Records. The album is set to be released in stores on June 23,2009. The first single off the album is, “I Love It (Papi Aye,Aye,Aye), and it sounds pretty damn good in my opinion.

Al B. Sure exploded onto the R&B scene back in 1988 with his first hit single entitled “Night And Day” followed by “Off on Your Own Girl” which I totally have on my mp3 player. They are great songs. He continued to pump out the hits in the early 90′s with “Misunderstanding”,”Right Now”,and “Rescue Me”.

The First, Exclusive movie trailer for the 2009 Guy Ritchie version of the classic adaptation, “Sherlock Holmes” movie has been released by Warner Bros. Pictures. It stars : Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Rachel McAdams, Mark Strong, Kelly Reilly, and Eddie Marsan.

Hey, Twilight Saga fans. This just in. We’re going to get to see some of the first footage of the “New Moon” movie a little bit earlier than anticipated as a new clip from the film will make it’s debut at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards,and that’s not all. Also stars of the film, Robert Pattinson,Kristen Stewart,and Taylor Lautner will all be there to present the new clip together. What a promotion,huh? It sounds like it will be quite an eventful night.

The 2009 MTV Movie Awards will air on MTV, Sunday May 31,2009 at 8pm central standard time. So it looks like we won’t have to wait until August 14,2009 after all. But of course that is still when the official full length movie trailer is reported to premier.

On the awards end of things, “Twilight” and Oscar winner “Slumdog Millionaire” both have six nominations each, so it should be interesting to see how these big dawg movies compete head to head that night.Comedian, Andy Samberg will host the show. Also big celebrities : Vanessa Hudgens, Leighton Meester, Cameron Diaz, Lil Wayne,and more will be presenting the awards. Rap star, Eminem is also slated to perform. This is going to be one of the highest rated MTV Movie Awards show ever. I can just feel it.

CBS rapped up it’s 18th season of “Survivor” entitled “Survivor : Tocantins” tonight (5-17-09),and the seven “Survivor” tribe peer members voted James “J.T.” Thomas Jr. to be the winner of the 18th installment of “Survivor” which was set in the rugged interior of Brazil. The show began with 16 players,and slowly but surely made it’s way down to the final two which consisted of James Thomas and New Yorker Stephen Fishbach on tonight’s finale.

James will take home $1 million before taxes to his home in Samson, Alabama where he owns a cattle-ranching business. I caught some of tonight’s episode,and they had a really interesting final competition which consisted of a ball maze game. It was really mental to see who could last the longest. It was rather unique and entertaining.

At the end of the show they showed a preview of where the 19th installment of Survivor would take place. They confirmed that it will take place in Samoa. So all you die hard “Survivor” fans have that to look forward to.

First of all, yes there is going to be a new He-man movie remake, and now, Warner Bros.and Silver Pictures have hired a newcomer by the name of Evan Daugherty to pen or write the script for it. They previously Hired Justin Marks who wrote “Street Fighter : The Legend of Chun Li” to write the He-man draft. So now Evan Daugherty will be working off Justin’s previous draft of He-man.

The He-man character was originally created by Mattel back in the 1980′s. They had a He-man cartoon,and action figure toyline for all the characters of the cartoon which I begged my mom to get for me at the time. Read the rest of this entry »
