According to my sources the first official movie trailer for the highly anticipated “New Moon” film is set to be shown in theaters during the previews before the feature presentation of the new family,musical, movie, “Bandslam” which is due out on August 14,2009. This “Bandslam” movie just hit the marketing jackpot if a lot of “Twilight Saga” fans hear about this. Heck if nothing else, they’ll at least try and find out more of what “Bandslam” is about because of the attention from “New Moon” or maybe not. Who knows? I do know it can’t hurt the film.

I’ve already seen a lot of sites promoting “Bandslam” ,and it’s movie trailer just because of the “New Moon” trailer news so it’s already helping. “Bandslam’s” plot is about a 16 yr old boy who has to relocate to another school when his mom gets a new job in New Jersey. He eventually forms a band,and competes in a major band contest entitled none other than , “Bandslam”. It will star :Alyson Michalka, (Highschool Musical star)Vanessa Hudgens, Gaelen Connell, and Lisa Kudrow.

They have targeted “Bandslam” because it’s audience will most likely be the same demographics that “New Moon” will have for the most part. Also Summit Entertainment is the movie studio for the “Twilight Saga” films and “Bandslam” so there’s another correlation for you. Read the rest of this entry »

The people over at the Harry Potter set for the “Deathly Hollows” installment have apparently started looking to the “New Moon ” cast for role filling. They have cast “New Moon’s” Jamie Campbell Bower who plays the leader of the Volturi vampire council in “New Moon”. He is reported to now be cast as the Dark wizard, Gellert Grindelwald who is a magician and childhood friend of Dumbledore’s in the next installment of the Harry Potter franchise entitled, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows”.

In the story, Gellert and Dumbledore have a falling out after Dumbledore’s sister dies. Then Gellert turns to the darkside. However, in the end, Gellert is killed by Voldemort for lying to protect Dumbledore. Read the rest of this entry »

While these are not the official posters from the film, they look damn professional. These are character posters featuring Bella Swan’s character,and Jane the Volturi played by Dakota Fanning. Many of these fanmade posters started spouting up online a couple of months ago,and I must admit it’s really kind of hard to actually tell the real ones from the fake ones. Ok, so apparently the other day the script for the highly anticipated,very high profile, “Twilight Saga” sequel, “New Moon” was found not on a movie set, or in the hands of a director,but a trash bin out in St. Louis,MO which is thousands of miles from where the film is being shot. The owner was however nice enough to return it to the studio. I think she should get a cut of the profits for that.

This is the second leak of the script after the 2nd draft of the screenplay was leaked online on Twitter,earlier. The trash bin script was found by a beauty salon owner named, Casey Ray who at first, considered selling it to a national tabloid.Then she decided to turn it in to the studio, “Summit Entertainment”. The recent drama queen headliner, Lindsay Lohan is back to mainstream, movie acting in “The Other Side” movie. It’s an adventure,comedy,fantasy film which will also star : Woody Harrelson, Giovanni Ribisi, Dave Matthews and Alanis Morissette. The plot will be about a grad student who has to spend a summer at a scientific institute on a remote island, and meets some eccentric or strange people who are hiding a dark secret about a tragedy that took place on the island many years ago.

The movie is set to start shooting in October of 2009 on the Massachusetts coastline. This will be the first time that Lindsay Lohan has been in a feature role since 2007 when she starred in ” I Know Who Killed Me”,and then she started a downhill path with all her personal drama. Lionsgate has released a new movie teaser trailer from Tyler Perry’s new upcoming film project, “I Can Do Bad All By Myself” which gives us a brief preview of some more of insane,hilarious Madea comedy. The film is set to release on September 11,2009 which is sooner than I expected.

In the clip we hear Madea making a 911 call because someone is breaking into her house. They want to send the police,but she doesn’t want them to because she’s just stone crazy. They ask her if she has any weapons. She says “quite a few, quite a few”. She proceeds to tell them to just send an ambulance because she’s about to bust a cap in these fools,lol!! On the final three elimination show (5-13-09), we saw Alisha Keys make an appearance. She didn’t perform,but she introduced a performance from some African kid which I could barely sit through. I wish she would have performed, what a waste. They did however, show performances from Katy Perry, and past “American Idol” winner, Jordan Sparks.

In between the performances, Ryan spoke to each of the three finalist individually and watched clips of them visiting their hometown for the first time since being on “American Idol”. First it was Danny. Then Kris,and last but not least,Adam. They showed footage of how everyone in their hometown is drooling over them now.Finally to cap off the show, of course. Ryan announced who would be the final two. Earlier he announced that Kris Allen was safe.Then at the conclusion , he announced that Adam Lambert had made it through, leaving Danny Gokey the odd man out. Read the rest of this entry »

I was never really a fan of the old “Star Trek” movies,and tv shows. I always thought it was kind of dull and boring,but man this new remake erased all of that. It really came with some heat and incredible action.

In the plot, it traced back to when George Kirk (Chris Hemsworth), the father of the Future Captain James T. Kirk would save 800 or so people from an enemy attack when he became captain of the Starship Enterprise for about 13 seconds before meeting his demise. Then it skips ahead to a rebellious,young James Kirk doing things like driving a car off a cliff,getting into a fight in a bar,and just being a smart alecky menace. He eventually takes up the challenge of Captain Christopher Pike to join the starship academy where he has his first run in with Spock when he cheats on Spock’s captain simulator test.
