The wild and fancy free Dallas Mavericks owner, Mark Cuban issued a public apology on his blog today for a heated exchange of words between him and Lydia Moore, Nugget’s forward, Kenyon Martin’s mother after Game 3 of their playoff series on Saturday May 9,2009. Apparently he called Kenyon Martin a thug and a punk. Then on game 4 of the playoffs there was a ton of tension in the stands. Lydia Moore had beer poured on her,and his girlfriend was verbally harassed. Also LaLa Vazquez who is the girlfriend of Nugget’s player Carmelo Anthony had an unpleasant altercation with a security guard ,and left the game after that. After the game, Mark Cuban posted his apology on his blog stating that this situation has gotten out of control.

He went on to write : ““When tempers and such start impacting the fan experience both in Dallas and Denver, and it requires special security, that’s not what I want for Mavs or Nuggets fans. Read the rest of this entry »

Universal pictures has picked “The Day The Earth Stood Still” remake star, Keanu Reeves to star in yet another remake of the “The Strange Case Of Dr.Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” which will be entitled “Jekyll”. Justin Haythe ,the writer of “Revolutionary Road” has been hired to write the script. Nicholas Winding Refn is currently in negotiations to direct the film. Erwin Stoff ,Douglas Wick,and Lucy Fisher are going to produce it.

The plot of the original story was about a doctor who creates a potion which brings out his inner evil side being Mr. Hyde. As time goes by, Mr. Hyde grows stronger until the point where Dr. Jekyll no longer needs the potion to bring out the Mr. Hyde in him.

Music video for Souljaboytellem’s “Turn My Swag On” song. “Turn My Swag On”, is the 2nd single released on Souljaboytellem’s studio album entitled, “iSouljaboytellem”. It was released on January 26, 2009. It was actually released on November 26,2008 on iTunes,and then Officially released in January 2009. “Turn My Swag On”, is Souljaboy’s third most successful single to date.

The music video was directed by Matt Alonzo and filmed at Souljaboy’s estate in Atlanta, GA. It peaked at # 1 on Bet’s 106 & Park Top 10 countdown. “Turn My Swag On” has also peaked at # 19 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 charts . Read the rest of this entry »

Universal Studios has released a second movie trailer for their new “Land of The Lost” movie starring funny man, Will Ferrell. In the new clip,we see Ferrell’s character, Ric Marshall introducing his new time warp invention to a bunch of elementary school kids. And of course, they ask kid questions that are unrelated to the invention, itself which makes for a very funny scene. Read the rest of this entry »

Paramount Pictures has quickly cast the recent “Fast and Furious 4″ star, Vin Diesel in their new, fast, car action movie entitled, “Wheelman”. It’s based on a video game by Ubisoft which launched last month. Vin Diesel is also the main character of the game and it’s producer. The film is set to be directed by John Singleton who also directed “2 Fast 2 Furious”.

Vin Diesel’s character will be an expert car driver who comes out of retirement in order to protect a woman that he knew in the past. Di Bonaventura who produced, “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” ,and “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra” will also be producing “Wheelman”. Warner Bros. Has announced that there will be a third installment of the very funny,movie franchise, “Harold & Kumar” which has a release date of November 5, 2010. There is no known plot or actors for the film at this point. The only thing we know about it is the release date. Also,apparently Kal Penn, the one who plays Kumar in the films has been reported to recently given up acting to serve on the “Obama” administration so I’m not really sure if he’ll be in this installment or not.I totally hope he is, though. I can’t imagine him not being in it .And if he’s not, I can’t see the movie being as successful as the first two. Read the rest of this entry »

Yesterday, Keifer Sutherland who is currently the star of Fox’s hit show, “24″ as agent Jack Bauer, has been charged with a misdemeanor for allegedly headbutting a fashion designer named, Jack McCollough of the Proenza Schouler fashion house. McCollough claims he was attacked by him after an argument that left him with a cut on his face early Tuesday morning.

Sutherland, has been ordered to appear in court on June 22,2009. It’s been reported that the misdemeanor is similar to a speeding ticket violation. Sutherland was currently on probation for drunk driving when the incident took place so it’s unsure at the moment if this altercation will have an effect on that.

Warner Bros. Pictures has released their fourth and final movie trailer for Terminator : Salvation,and wow it’s a very detailed one with a whopping full 4 minutes of footage. It’s got to be one of the longest official movie trailers to date. That cute girl, Jessica Szohr who plays Dan’s longtime friend, Vanessa Abrams on the CW’s hit show, “Gossip Girl” is now branching out into movies. She is reported to be cast in the remake of the 1978 horror flick, “Piranha” in 3D. The movie is about a small town being terrorized by a prehistoric man-eating razor-toothed fish.

It will be directed by Alexandre Aja who directed the “Hills Have Eyes” remake. Jessica Szohr will play Kelly who is a cute, young, college girl all caught up in the coed party scene for spring break. Or in other words she’ll probably be fish bait for Mr. “Piranha”. Hey, somebody’s gotta be the bait,right?

Other stars that are slated to be in this movie, is the classic Elizabeth Shue,Ving Rhames,and Adam Scott. “Piranha” will begin shooting later on in May 2009,and the release date will be March 19,2010.
