Star Trek’s Chris Pine Looking To Star In ‘Unstoppable’ Movie

Chris Pine who recently starred in the hit remake of “Star Trek” as Captain James T. Kirk has possibly found his next gig in a new upcoming movie from 20th Century Fox entitled “Unstoppable”. Apparently, Chris is still in negotiations to do the film. And should he be in the film, he would play opposite Denzel Washington.
The plot of the film is that Denzel Washington’s character is an experienced trained engineer who is about to be laid off do to company cutbacks. Chris Pine’s character is a newbie conductor hired to replace Denzel Washington’s character. Eventually they get into a situation where they have to stop an unmanned,half mile long freight train that is carrying enough combustible liquids and poisonous gas to take out a whole city.
The script was written by Mark Bomback. The movie is being produced by Julie Yorn and Ian Bryce.
Apparently Chris Pine has been bombarded with offers since the success of the new “Star Trek” remake.
