ReelzChannel was on location at the AMC Theaters in Burbank,California about two months ago,and they got to chat,and interview with some of the stars of the “New Moon” cast. In This video Kristen Stewart who plays Bella Swan said that the script is really solid,and is really anxious to get started. She said her meetings with the director Chriz Weitz were so great,freeing,and that he’s very collaborative. Ashley Green who plays Alice Cullen said “New Moon” is a step up from “Twilight”. “Twilight” was sort of an indie film because they didn’t have that big of a budget to work with. Now, with the success of “Twilight”, they have a bigger budget to go on,and everything is improved.

Then they spoke with Edi Gathegi who plays Laurent the vampire. He said that he thinks “New Moon” is more active ,there’s a lot of things happening from the onset,and that there’s more forward movement in the script. Kristen Stewart comments on how great Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black) will be,and that he’ll be a great counterpart to Edward in the film.

Edi comments on Taylor putting on thirty pounds of muscle for the movie,and that he’s ready and primed. Ashley says that she’s in the movie most of the time even when Robert’s character isn’t. Edi talks about his character Laurent,and how in the last movie, he had sort of a conscience and was almost kind of good in a way. But in ” New Moon” he’s not so good anymore. Kristen Stewart concludes with saying the filming was really easy. It was like picking up right where they left off in “Twilight”.
