We ran a story a while ago about Miley agreeing to do a 4th season of “Hannah Montana” for Disney with conditions that she can delay taping to work on a new movie. However, according to recent reports, it turns out that Billy Ray Cyrus and Miley Cyrus aren’t all that happy about it.
According to TMZ, she is still under contract which means she had to agree to do the show regardless of what she really wanted. They also said that Billy Ray and Miley feel that there is more money to be made in her music career, so they started showing up late to “Hannah Montana” tapings which stalled production,and started fights with her co-stars. Apparently they were doing this to try and force Disney to fire them.
Whether it’s really that bad or not. It’s interesting news to say the least.

To my knowledge, there is no way to hold a minor to any contract. Any legal fiction to try to circumvent that would be not the paper it’s written on. Any legal entity held responsible for Miley’s performance could be challenged legally and at any rate could pay out it’s funds and declare bankruptcy.
