David Letterman Loses ‘Olive Garden’ Sponsor
According to reports from Zap2it, the popular “Olive Garden” restaurant company has pulled all of it’s advertising that would’ve shown during this year’s “The Late Show” broadcast. They are apparently unhappy about the jokes David Letterman told on Sarah Palin’s daughter.
Olive Garden made a statement in an email to a Letterman critic saying, “We apologize that Mr. Letterman’s mistake, which was not consistent with our standards and values, left you with a bad impression of Olive Garden.” Even though Sarah Palin finally accepted his apology, a conservative radio host named John Ziegler is currently running a campaign to get David Letterman fired. They’ve already held a small protest outside the “Late Show” studios.
This John Ziegler character has also compiled a list of the show’s advertisers which includes “Olive Garden”, and put them on a website he made called, “firedavidletterman.com”.
So what do you think ? Are they going a little overboard or what ?

I will cease business with any company that pulls advertising due to this ridiculous reason. I will watch Letterman every night and make a point to buy everything I see advertised on the show.
Please Sindy, your side does’t possibly have enough numbers to pull this off. I spent $240 with Olive Garden in the last two days. That should counter your boycott quite easily.

Anyone who spends thousands per month on food and spends it all at Olive Garden should have their taste buds
examined. Should I ask you now what other Letterman sponsors you currently spend money with so that when
I say that I’m pulling my support from them, you won’t
after the fact make up a figure that you supposedly spend?
