MTV reports that the Toronto Police have charged the manager of the hit rap group “Black Eyed Peas” with assault on celebrity blogger Perez Hilton that occurred on Monday June 22,2009 early in the morning. The altercation happened outside of the Toronto Cobra nightclub. The Police said that Molina turned himself in on Monday afternoon. Molina is supposed to be back in court at Toronto’s Old City Hall courthouse on August 5,2009 to answer the assault charge. He could reportedly face a maximum of five years in prison if prosecutors choose to charge him with an “indictable offense” or up to 18 months if he is charged with a “summary offense”.

Will.I.Am of the “Black Eyed Peas” denied having anything to do with hitting Perez Hilton. He stated, “Dude, apparently you were bleeding outside the club. I was, like, next to you by a tree. I was waiting for my car. … I didn’t hit you”.
