E! online has reported that celebrity blogger Perez Hilton will be suing the “Black Eyed Peas” manager Polo Molina for hitting him in the face on Monday June 22, 2009 outside of the “Cobra” club in Toronto. He has filed a lawsuit against Molina for a black eye and “emotional distress”.

They report that he filed his complaint today June 24,2009 under his legal name Mario Lavandeira, saying that he was beaten up by Polo Molina after a dispute with Will.i.am and Fergie over artistic merits of the “Black Eyed Peas” new album. Perez also said that his civil rights were violated by Molina’s actions.

Perez will be seeking compensation for medical expenses and unspecified general and punitive damages. Molina has since been arrested after turning himself in,and charged with one count of assault for allegedly hitting Perez Hilton in the face. The altercation occurred after Perez Hilton called Will.i.am a fagget. Perez stated on his blog that he called him that because Will.i.am was threatening him.
