American Idol’s Simon Cowell Is Collaborating With a Billionaire

According to Zap2it, “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell is in talks with British billionaire Sir Philip Green to form an entertainment company that will develop content in the United States and United Kingdom. The potential partnership would act as a holding company for all of Simon’s entertainment productions which include : “Britain’s Got Talent”. “America’s Got Talent”, and “The X-Factor”.
Sir Philip Green owns British Home stores and the Arcadia group which is responsible for clothing outlets : “Top Shop”, “Dorothy Perkins”,”Miss Selfridge” which brings in fashion icons like Kate Moss.
The new company would also be a launching pad for new programming that is produced by Simon with Sir Philip Green providing business advice. This situation has developed because Sir Philip has recently been giving advice to Simon Cowell concerning his upcoming contract negotiations with “American Idol”. They’ve reported that he’s been offered a contract that would make him the highest payed television star. Even higher than Oprah Winfrey’s reported earnings. Now, that’s what I call, really gettin payed.
