
The Jonas Brothers’ latest album, “Lines,Vines and Trying Times” is set to debut at # 1 on the Billboard charts on the week of June 29,2009. This will be their second album to debut at the # 1 slot in less than a year, reports MTV. Nielson SoundScan reports that their latest album has sold more than 247,000 copies in it’s first week to take over the Billboard # 1 slot for a 2nd time. Their last album entitled, “A Little Bit Longer” hit # 1, last August of 2008 by selling more than 525,000 copies in its first week.
The Black Eyed Peas “The E.N.D.” will slip to # 2 having sold 148,000 copies. The Dave Matthews Band’s “Big Whiskey & The GrooGrux King” comes in at # 3. Next to follow, is Eminem’s “Relapse”, coming in at # 4 with 72,000 copies sold.
