

The Thursday June 25,2009 elimination show of “So You Think You Can Dance” started off with a routine from the dancers to a song called “I Know You Want Me”. Nigel , then took the time to honor entertainers : Michael Jackson, Farah Fawcett, and Ed McMahon due to their passing this week. They also showed Michael Jackson’s classic “Thriller” video leading into the first break.
Then after the break, they got right down to the results. They reviewed the first set of couples, and Vitolio Jeune & Asuka Kondoh, were revealed to be in the bottom three.
After the second break, they reviewed the next set of couples. Jonathan Platero & Karla Garcia and Jason Glover & Caitlin Kinney were revealed to be in the bottom three. Then special guests called “The Rage Boys Crew” performed to lead into the third break.
When they returned, the six contestants that were in the bottom three did solo performances for their lives. The first four performed. Then they went into another break. When they got back, the final two performed their solos. Then “The Veronicas” performed their hit song, “Take Me On The Floor” to go into the final break.
When they got back, Nigel said they were unanimous in their decision with the girls this week. Then , he revealed that Asuka Kondoh would be leaving because they felt that she wasn’t growing in the competition. Then to the guys where Nigel said they weren’t unanimous in their decision for the guys. He, then revealed that Jonathan Platero would be going home because he felt that he didn’t show America that he was the best dancer this week, or in his solo performance.
So Asuka Kondah & Jonathan Platero leave this week. Now we’re down to just fourteen competitors left to go.
