
Melissa Rosenberg who is the screenwriter for “Twilight” and “New Moon” recently sat down with makingof.com to give an interview about her experience working on the epic “Twilight Saga” films.
She said working on the “Twilight” set has been one of the greatest experiences of her career. She really didn’t know how big an opportunity it was when she first got the gig. She said that it turned out to be more than she ever could have hoped for. Then she talks about her experience working for the now canceled popular Fox “O.C.” show,and how it lead to her first working with Summit Entertainment who produced to the “Twilight Saga” films.
Eventually it lead to her working on the “Twilight” film. She said she loves vampire stories,and wrote “Twilight” in record time. She talked about the process she went through to write the book into a movie.She also talked about how easy it was to work with Stephanie Meyers after she finally got to meet her. She said it was a great collaboration working with Stephanie.
Then she talks about Edwards character in “New Moon”. She concludes with talking about writing the third installment “Eclipse”,and how it was the most difficult one to write.
