The 2009 BET Awards took place tonight June 28,2009,and as reported a couple of days ago, they changed everything around to honor Michael Jackson due to his death on Thursday June 25, 2009.
The audience was treated to a stunning performance by the hit 80’s boy group “New Edition”. They performed a medley of Jackson 5 hits, MTV reports. Bobby Brown reunited with the group to perform classic songs like “ABC” and “The Love You Save”. Also they report, that they’re choreography was really impressive considering that they didn’t have much time to rehearse.
Jamie Fox wrapped up the show’s opening sequence with an imitation “Moonwalk” Michael Jackson signature dance move, and the audience erupted as he danced his way off stage.
They put up a short 39 second video of “New Edition” performing . Check it out below.

Thanks a lot for the video. The awards were very good. Jamie Foxx did a good job. Beyonce’s performance was also good. At the end there was a speech given by Janet remembering her brother.
