According to reports, ABC’s hit drama “Desperate Housewives” has brought on “Sons of Anarchy” star Drea de Matteo to play an Edie like role in their upcoming sixth season. Sources say that the executive producer Marc Cherry needed to infuse Fairview with something new since Edie Britt played by Nicollette Sheridan is now dead and another housewife has gotten married.
According to our sources she is supposed to play an Edie like character who has a son and husband. She’s also Italian. They also said that Drea’s character Wendy Case on “Sons of Anarchy” could now be pushed to the background since she’s got a new “Desperate Housewives” gig.
