According to reports from NY daily news, The cruel and brutally honest,English judge Simon Cowell could make up to $144 million to do the upcoming season 9 of “American Idol”. They said he was already making $36 million from the show which is already plenty enough, but now Fox is offering him a reported three to four times more than that amount this year.

I say kudos to him. Somebody’s got to rake in all the cash,right ? Simon also has stake in other shows like Britain’s Got Talent” and “The X-Factor”. I’ve also heard elsewhere that the other judges only bring in maybe a million from the show, which is a lot, but not comparatively speaking, to Simon’s 36 million, and possible upcoming raise of $144 million. That’s wicked,lol!!!

I’ve always kind of thought that “American Idol” might not have been as successful if Simon had never been on it. He’s what drew me to watch it for the first time.
