The June 18,2009 “So You Think You Can Dance” elimination show started out with a routine choreographed by Mia Michaels to a Stevie Wonder song.After that, they had a good laugh over Lil C’s wide vocabulary that he displayed the night before on the performance show. Then they got right down to the voting results. After reviewing the first three couple’s performances, Caitlin Kinney and Jason Glover were the first couple revealed to be in the bottom three.

Then they got started reviewing the next three couple’s performances. After reviewing them, Kupono Aweau and Ashley Valerio were revealed to be the next couple in the bottom three,and must dance for their lives. The Cw has announced that “One Tree Hill” will be switching time slots with “Gossip Girl” in their new fall 2009 lineup. So “One Tree Hill” will air at 7pm central time,and “Gossip Girl” will move to the 8pm central time slot on Mondays,this fall. This is reportedly going to be good news for “Gossip Girl” because they won’t have to compete with NBC’s Heroes and Fox’s “House”. They will only have to compete against Fox’s “lie To Me” and the CBS new show “Trauma”.

Also the CW will be starting the new seasons pretty early on September 8th to get a jump on the competition. Tuesdays will see the second season of “90210″ and the revamp of “Melrose Place”. The only show that will not have a premier that week is “Smallville” Read the rest of this entry »

The new Jack Black comedy movie “Year One” hits the big screens tomorrow June 19,2009. Michael Cera from “Superbad” will also be in it. He’s hilarious. We’ve got the 5th tv spot promo posted below. It’s full of more comedy which includes, sword stabbing,Jack black funny dancing,people getting punched,and rocks being thrown at people, mostly at Michael Cera’s character “Oh”. Wow what a name. The 11th tv promo for the new 6th installment of the Harry Potter franchise entitled, “Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince” has been released. In This 30 second clip we see more action and adventure from the Harry potter cast which include flashbacks, oceans,fire,floating objects, a touch of comedy,Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Albus Dumbledore, and that magical word “Poof”. Back in November of 2008 when “Twilight” first came out, Ellen Degeneres gave Robert Pattinson an interview. They showed his parents on the show as they were dancing and really getting into it. He talked about how he didn’t know how successful the books were when he first started filming “Twilight”. He said he was living in England,and they weren’t very big over there at the time.

He talked about how tens of thousands of people would show up at the premiers when there were only supposed to be like one or two hundred people. Then they talk about how people love his hair.Next, he reveals that he is single,and the girls go wild. He goes on to talk about how his car doesn’t seem to work right. Recently Clevver TV put up this video recap of the “New Moon” teaser trailer and revealed some very interesting things that some of us might have missed while watching the trailer. Dana Ward, the host of the show starts out going over the different scenes of the trailer, starting with the passionate Bella and Edward clip.

Then she moves to the part where Edward says that he will leave her in order to protect her. She gets to the new, buff Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black,and his role in the film. The people over at ShockTillYouDrop.com recently gave Jackson Rathbone of “Twilight” and “New Moon” an interview. Jackson played the vampire Jasper Hale. He’s the one getting thrown into the piano in the “New Moon” trailer after trying to attack Bella when she gets a paper cut.

Jackson shared his experience of making the first film “Twilight”. He said that they were all making the film together,and that Catherine Hardwicke, the director brought a really fun vibe on to the set. He went on to state, “It was a little stressful because as we kept filming, the press kept getting more of it and the fans kept being more into it. All these websites started popping up, and all these things. It was amazing. It was like, ‘Oh, wow, this is going to be something else!’ We started making this movie and people are already loving it and it’s not even out yet. Read the rest of this entry »

“The Hangover” movie has seen a lot of box office success as of late as it is still number one . One might think that the decision for a sequel was made after the success occurred,but with this particular movie, that is not the case. Apparently Warner Bros. had already decided to go through with plans for a sequel two months before the movie came out according to Variety who actually ran the story back in April of 2009.

They reported that the film tested strongly at the time so they went ahead and made the decision to hire the director Todd Phillips to write a sequel with Scot Armstrong. Todd Phillips will direct and produce “The Hangover” sequel through his Green Hat Films banner. The WB are also bringing back the original stars, Bradley Cooper,Zach Galifianakis,and Ed Helms.

Variety reported that the WB hopes to start production on the sequel later this year. Read the rest of this entry »

According to a radio show that tvgrapevine.com found and put up on their site, there is going to be what is called a CBS “Big Brother” media day on June 19,2009. It’s an event put together by the producers of the show to do a test run of the “Big Brother” house.

Now, this radio host said that his sister runs the whole thing and she told him that the “Big Brother” media day is going to consist of a couple of celebrities which includes,and I quote : himself, Perez Hilton,somebody from “Extra”,and Access Hollywood. Read the rest of this entry »

CW’s hit show “One Tree Hill” just filled another casting slot with up and coming actress Shantel VanSanten. She will play Haley Scott’s (Bethany Joy Galeotti) sister on the show next season.

She is one of two major new females that will be added to the cast of “One Tree Hill” for it’s new upcoming 7th season. She also joins the new male recruit Robert Buckley who was cast to play Nathan Scott’s basketball agent on the show after Brian Austin Green turned the part down.

Shantel VanSanten is also going to be starring in “The Final Destination” movie coming on August 28,2009.

What do you guys think ? Shantel VanSanten a good choice for “One Tree Hill” or not ? I personally don’t know that much about her,but she is awfully cute. Apparently she has appeared on “Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Search”,and “CSI NY”.
