Rick Worthy who played the humanoid Cylon Simon on Battlestar Galactica is currently in negotiations to join the cast of NBC’s hit show “Heroes”as a recurring character.

He will be playing Matt Parkman’s new partner who is an experienced and capable Los Angeles cop that Matt leans on,and comes to for advice. Rick Worthy has also been in a couple of other popular sci fi tv shows which include : “Enterprise,” “Star Trek: Voyager,” “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine,” “Stargate SG-1,” “Dark Angel” and “Odyssey 5″. He will be joining other newcomers to the show, Robert Knepper and Madelina Zima.

NBC Heroes will be entering it’s fourth season later this year.

Fox’s hit real time drama show “24″ has hired another new cast member for it’s upcoming eighth season. His name is Clayne Crawford. He’s been in such productions as “A Walk To Remember Me”,”Swimfan”, “A Love Song For Bobby Long”,and “The Great Raid”.

Clayne will now play a bad boy in “24″ who is from Dana Walsh’s (Katee Sackhoff) past. Sackhoff, who previously starred in “Battlestar Galactica” plays an expert data analyst at CTU with a secret past. She’s also involved with Freddie Prinze Jr.’s character Davis Cole.

Clayne Crawford also just got done wrapping up filming for the sequel to “Smokin Aces” which is entitled “Smokin Aces : Blowback”.

Summit Entertainment recently created a website called eclipseopencasting.com which is an online open casting call website for the latest “Twilight Saga” installment “Eclipse”. They are casting for the characters Seth Clearwater and Leah Clearwater.

Seth Clearwater’s character is a 15 year old male who is a Quileute Indian and the youngest member of the La Push Wolf Pack in the film. Read the rest of this entry »

Access Hollywood interviewed Catherine Hardwicke the director of “Twilight” at the 2009 Women In Film Crystal and Lucy Awards. She talks about how cool it was to win “Best Fight” scene at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards because it beat out some really great films for the year like ‘Batman” and others.

She talks about how Taylor Lautner looks amazing,and that he really worked hard for it so it’s great.In conclusion, she said that she’s really proud of the whole cast,and that she’s happy to see that they get to do other great movies as a result of their ‘Twilight Saga” success. Access Hollywood recently caught up with “New Moon” and “Twilight” star Taylor Lautner at the 2009 CDFA fashion awards. He talked about how he’s currently wearing the “Calvin Klein” collection,and that it’s awesome. They just finished shooting “New Moon”,and he’s keeping up with publicity. He said they’re on a little break right now. And then they go back to film the third installment “Eclipse” in August.

He talks about how Robert Pattinson is a great guy. He, then starts to talk a little about the plotlines for “New Moon”. How Edward leaves Bella because he thinks he’s to dangerous to be around her. Then Jacob brings her out of her deep depression. Read the rest of this entry »

Recently, Extra gave an interview to “Twilight” and “New Moon” star Peter Facinelli. Peter plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the “Twilight Saga” films. Peter talked about how he’s just finished up the filming of “New Moon”. He said it was fun doing it,working with the new director,and getting to work with the “Twilight” cast again.

He also talked about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s growing popularity. He also talked about how his character in the movie makes him seems so much older than he actually is. Then he comments about his Showtime “Nurse Jackie” tv show. He explains the differences between his “Twilight Saga” character and his “Nurse Jackie” character because both characters are doctors. Along with the two albums that Eminem is releasing this year, he reportedly stated on BET’s “Rap City : The Relapse” that he is planning to get into the studio to work on the first album from D-12 in 5 years. It is also their first album since the death of group member “Proof” which occurred three years ago.

Eminem said his death caused him to go into depression and drug use. He stated, “Me and the guys, we got a bond, it’s special. It’s like, as far as the future of D12, we’re gonna be back in the studio soon.” The rest of the D-12 group includes : Bizarre, Kon Artis, Kuniva and Swifty .

In reports from my sources, all four of the “American Idol” judges: Simon Cowell,Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson,and the new comer Kara DioGuardi will be returning for the upcoming 9th season of “American Idol”. There had been some speculation if they would all return.

Paula had stated in an interview that she was unsure when asked, stating it was pending negotiations. And Kara DioGuardi had only signed a one year 8th season contract,and it was unsure if it would be renewed. Also having four judges slowed down the show’s running time last season which lead to some more uncertainty for Kara DioGuardi’s future on the show. But, in spite of all that negative speculation, it’s reported that Paula and Kara’s contracts are going to be finalized in the next few weeks. FOX is supposed to make the announcement next month.

R&B superstar and Recent “Obsessed” movie star Beyonce Knowles and her husband Jay-Z will attend the 2009 BET Awards,and Beyonce is reported to be performing along with a lineup that includes musical stars : Kanye West, Maxwell, Young Jeezy, Ne-Yo and Soulja Boy.

Beyonce is also reported to be nominated for 5 top BET Awards which includes favorite R&B female and video of the year. Rap superstar T.I., Lil Wayne ,T-Pain,and Keri Hilson are all up for quite a few nominations as well. Jamie Foxx is also reported to be the host of the awards show which takes place at the Shrine Auditorium on June 28,2009.

Alyson Stoner who’s been in such movies as “Step Up”,”Cheaper by The Dozen 1 and 2″,and the popular kid’s show, “Suite Life of Zack & Cody”, interviewed Taylor Lautner who plays Jacob Black in “Twilight” and “New Moon” . This interview was from April of 2008 while he was filming “Twilight”.

Alyson asks him about who he is and what he does. He explains that he’s an actor just like Alyson. She jokes and says, “She’s and Actress”. He goes, “Oh, Ok,then I’m a boy actress”. Taylor said he likes to play football for fun,and that he’s done martial arts for seven years. He says he was a four time world champion in martial arts. Alyson jokes that she was a five time martial arts champion. “He’s such an amature”. He said he had to stop martial arts at 13 yrs old so he could get into the acting business.
